It is extremely important to us as a business to constantly improve our environmental and sustainability credentials. Operations Director, Steve Coburn is currently attending a series of workshops to assist the company in gaining five modules to Environmental Standard BS 8555.
BS 8555 is the new British Standard that has been designed with small and medium-sized businesses specifically in mind. The standard provides a phased approach to implementing an Environmental Management system at our own pace. At the end of the process, we can have acknowledgment of compliance with BS 8555 or go for full ISO14001 certification, which will have been complied with through the implementation process.
Steve will attend the last course in January 2011 with us looking to be accessed in early February.

We all know that Which independently test many products. Their latest was laundry stain removers. The Ecover ecological stain remover liquid scored 5 stars for removing make up, 4 stars for Grease and Oil and 4 stars for overall stain remover. This... was voted better than Vanish Oxi Action! Which said 'this product comfortably out-scored any other 'eco' contender and achieved 70% overall.
